Painful Regret

As a young child who desires to know the meaning of life, left at a tender age to an unknown world.

leaving my parents, having in mind to explore the walls of life just to be the best daughter ever, it was not completely easy. I just wished to focus on making it in life and making my parents and the people around me proud.

I am Mira, the second daughter of my parents with two younger siblings, I love my parents and wants to make things right.

This never changed my mind from thinking and imagining how sweet it would be to be with my lovely parents, how they would love me, care for me and pamper me, but she was really having an imagination she never knew if it would come through.

Mira stayed away from her parents for 9 years, coming back to see that things has changed. She could not fathom what her parents are like, what they like and dislike, they could not describe what Mira likes, her dislike and character. But she really wanted a peaceful and lovely union with her parents.

Mira started trying all means to fit in, to become the best among her siblings, to bring those imaginations she always has into reality, but to no avail. she was the devil in the house.

But on a more serious note, she was not what her parents wanted, she was stubborn, rude and hot tempered, always wishing for an occasion to fight and fight back. she doesn't eat what others eat, she don't like what others like, her life was totally against her parents wish and ways. To her, she's not to be blamed, it wasn't her fault at all, it was just how she grew up but to her parents, she was a spoilt child and needs a better training.

Mira's parents were God fearing Christians and churchy type, but she was not, she had no time for church and it's activities, she just wanted to live her life, loving her parents and siblings.
Her younger sister has always been the perfect one, the most loved, cared for and always did what their parents likes and wanted. Mira tried her best to fit in but to no avail.

Mira's parents always talked to her so harshly, called her all sorts of names, saw her as a bad luck, but deep down in Mira's heart, she wanted to be the best, she wanted to be loved, she wanted to be cared for and wanted to prove herself to them.

To Mira all hope was gone, at a point she had no strength in her to continue living but thank God for her younger brother who always talks to her, encouraged her and reminded her of how much their parents talks good about her before she finally came back home.

So Mira asked her self what exactly is the problem, why is there no peace between my parents and I, why can't I live in peace with them, why am I always feeling sad and hurt by them. All my wishes and imagination were not coming forth, what can I do to make things right, what was the cause of all these, what exactly is my flaws and wrong doings, thousands of questions she asked herself each day and her greatest wish was an answer to them.

What exactly was my mistake???

Mira was not that brilliant but she tried her best to always take the first position in their class just to be a precious child to her parents, she started minimizing the friends she makes, how she talk and how she acts just to please her parents. Every morning she prays to God for a perfect peace.

But she came to understand that her little mistake was leaving her parents. She thought of the best thing to do, she just wanted to make them proud and to maintain her mental health, she decided to completely leave them for good. Mira left her parents hoping for her dream to come through.

She started living to survive, she never fails to call her parents in every three days, she as well sends gifts cash to her parents once in a while.

Just one morning, she got a call from her parents, telling her that her two younger siblings had an accident on their way coming back from school. Mira could not comprehend this news, she immediately rushed home to see them.
But just on her way, she had a fatal accident that lead to her death.

Mira's parents lived to regrets the death of Mira. This was a painful regrets.

Mira's parents wanted the best for their daughters but they were doing it in a wrong way, they failed to look through Mira's heart to Know what she wants and how to train her to their expectation.
Mira died not fulfilling her heart desires and her parents lived their life to always regret their actions.
